Swami VivekanandSubharti University has been established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under “Swami VivekanandSubharti University, Uttar Pradesh Act 2008” (Act 29 of 2008), which received the assent of His Excellency, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh on September 05, 2008 vide letter no. 2357/ Session-1-08-20 (5)/2007.

The University has an impressive campus sprawled over an area of around 200 acres, 65 kms away from Delhi in Meerut on National Highway-58, Delhi-Haridwar Meerut Bypass Road. The University presently runs around 70 programmes through 14 constituent colleges and institutions, all located within the campus. The University has nearly 8,000 students on its roll. The University takes pride in having all the facilities and infrastructure not only for academic activities but also has the best of amenities for residential purposes. The University campus has ample number of hostels for boys and girls and has a separate residential campus for the faculty and other members of the staff.
